Tade Oyolola is the Director of Renewables, UK at GoodPower. He brings over a decade of experience developing and deploying utility-scale renewable energy projects across the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
His expertise includes energy transition strategies and energy systems, with a focus on policy implementation and community engagement across complex regulatory environments.
Tade’s career path also led him to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, where his research focuses on carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) through the UK government’s GeoNetZero program, launched to support the UK’s net zero target. He also holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Aberdeen and Covenant University, respectively.
Beyond his professional work, Tade is an active volunteer as part of a faith-based team providing support to residents at a Category C facility in the UK, as well as rehabilitation and reintegration assistance upon release. He and his wife are proud parents of two children. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing board games, and reading.
