As GoodPower’s Administrative and Events Manager, she blends sharp attention to detail with fresh ideas—planning and executing events, managing the CEO’s schedule, and coordinating interviews and executive team calendars to ensure operations run smoothly and intentionally.
With over 20 years of experience across nonprofit, corporate, and entrepreneurial sectors, Karla has led everything from national conferences at a prominent nonprofit to grassroots scholarship initiatives. Her career highlights include founding her own company and managing international training programs, all with a signature blend of warmth, precision, and strategic insight.
Motivated by a deep commitment to social justice, cultural awareness, and higher education, Karla founded Miss El Salvador MA, USA—a pageant reimagined to celebrate service, leadership, and empowerment over glamour. Through this platform, she awarded scholarships, built mentorship partnerships with local businesses, engaged delegates in community service, and produced live and virtual events that uplifted culture and advocacy.
Karla holds a BFA in Performing Arts and brings her theatrical roots into every project, infusing storytelling, energy, and empathy into her work. Multilingual and multicultural, she is fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in Portuguese. She finds joy in learning new languages and sharing recipes that bring people together—always creating space for connection through culture and conversation.
