Ludenyo Wangia

Ludenyo is Associate Director of Data Engineering at GoodPower, based in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, he focuses on the architecture, integrations, and automations that keep the organization’s data ecosystem flowing.

He designs the blueprints for how systems talk to each other, builds the bridges that connect disparate data sources, and orchestrates the automations that turn raw information into reliable insights. His work ensures that teams across GoodPower can make decisions with clarity, speed, and confidence.

Before joining GoodPower, Ludenyo was a Lead Data Engineer at Twiga Foods, a leading fresh foods and FMCG aggregator in East Africa. There, he helped strengthen Twiga’s tech-driven supply chain by maintaining the company’s data warehouse, building sourcing and analytics pipelines, and ensuring data security while delivering dashboards and insights to guide the business. Earlier in his career, he worked with KPMG East Africa’s consulting arm, first as a Data & Analytics Associate and later as a Tech Incubator Associate, supporting organizations across the region to embed automation and analytics in their operations and grow towards true data maturity.

Ludenyo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Away from data systems, you’ll find him exploring new landscapes through travel or hiking, and enjoying a good game of basketball.
