Cristina Jorda is GoodPower’s Chief Development Officer, where she leads the design, development, and implementation of the organization’s fundraising strategy and works to cultivate and sustain critical relationships.
Cristina holds a Law degree from CEU University in Madrid, Spain, and brings more than a decade of philanthropic experience to her role. Before joining GoodPower, she spent 13 years at the Hewlett Foundation, where she managed significant grantmaking portfolios and played a central role in developing and implementing strategies, systems, and processes to strengthen the foundation’s impact. Her work ranged from supporting Bay Area organizations that expand opportunities for affordable housing and clean transportation, to advancing large-scale conservation efforts across the Western United States, and collaborating with international nonprofits driving systemic change.
In addition to her professional role, Cristina has served on several nonprofit boards and is deeply committed to advancing the missions of organizations that create meaningful opportunities and long-lasting impact in communities. She is fluent in six languages, which reflects her international perspective and ability to connect across cultures.
Outside of work, Cristina values time with her family, is an avid hiker, and pursues her passions for photography and travel whenever possible.
