Debbie Weyl

Debbie Weyl is GoodPower’s Managing Director, serving as a senior executive leader to GoodPower and working in close collaboration with the CEO. Debbie brings extensive organizational leadership experience in the global clean energy transition, and leads through executive partnership, strengthening organizational cohesion, and driving strategic execution across the organization.

Debbie brings two decades of experience in climate and energy non-profit organizations to her role, along with a passion for a people-first approach to leadership. Before joining GoodPower, she spent 10 years at World Resources Institute. She provided leadership for a broad portfolio of US-facing work across energy, transportation, land use, and climate, with a focus on team cohesion, strategic approach, organizational alignment, and operational excellence. Prior to that, Debbie led work on building decarbonization and energy efficiency in cities, states and countries around the world.

Debbie holds a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA from Princeton University. She loves building community and doing anything outside, particularly with her husband Ben and their two kids in Washington, DC.
