Nicole Rom

Nicole Rom is the Senior Director, Donor Prospecting and Fundraising at GoodPower, helping to scale GoodPower’s revenue generation from new donor prospects. Nicole Rom brings over 20 years of experience scaling nonprofits, managing exceptional teams, and driving progress on conservation and climate change solutions. Nicole most recently worked for the Institute for Sustainable Communities as the Vice President for US Programs and was Deputy Director at ICLEI-USA and the Clean Energy Communities Fund.

Previously, Nicole spent nearly 17 years as an Executive Director for The Conservation Alliance and Climate Generation. While leading Climate Generation, Nicole was recognized by Energy News Network as a 40 Under 40 Clean Energy Leader. Earlier in her career, Nicole began in the environmental education field, running the Great Lakes education programs for the National Wildlife Federation and serving as Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan. Nicole holds an MS in Natural Resource Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan and a BA in Environmental Studies from Bates College.

Based on the western slope of Colorado, Nicole is passionate about all things outdoors and taking her daughter, Auden, on adventures near and far.
