Rahma is GoodPower’s Outreach and Production Manager. In this role, she leads outreach to identify and secure compelling storytellers whose experience bring the clean energy transition to life.
Prior to GoodPower, Rahma worked across national newsrooms and political organizations including CNN, ABC News, and the Democratic National Committee, where she led high-level outreach, booking strategy, and messaging operations. Throughout her career, she has built relationships with policymakers, entertainers, business leaders, strategists, advocates, and underrepresented voices, distilling complex policy issues into clear, accessible narratives for broad audiences.
Her climate storytelling experience includes producing multiple segments with then-U.S. General Assembly President Csaba Kőrösi focused on global climate initiatives, water scarcity, and climate refugees. That work reinforced her belief that effective environmental storytelling must center people and real-world impact.
Rahma holds a bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Strategic Communication from the University of Utah. She lives in the greater Washington, D.C. area and enjoys baking, exploring pop culture, home decor, and curating thoughtful gatherings with friends and family.
