A Boston-area native, Shaun Kelleher is a nationally recognized political strategist with more than two decades of experience designing and leading large-scale voter and advocacy programs that connect politics to people’s everyday lives. He has been at the forefront of modern voter-contact innovation—testing, refining and scaling strategies that have reshaped how campaigns and causes engage, mobilize and measure impact across the country.
Shaun’s work combines research-driven methods, layered communication and high-volume organizing to build winning campaigns and strengthen issue advocacy efforts at every level of politics. At GoodPower, he leads a multi-entity political and organizing portfolio that turns economic resonance into durable political power, operationalizing the organization’s 2025–2030 strategy to grow fivefold and deliver measurable wins on energy affordability, economic fairness and clean-energy deployment.
He has held senior leadership positions at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee—serving as National Coordinated Campaigns Director during the consequential 2020 cycle that flipped control of the U.S. Senate—and at the League of Conservation Voters, where he was a principal architect of its electoral, accountability and advocacy programs. Shaun has also held leadership roles at the AFL-CIO, the United Steelworkers and the Democratic National Committee, consistently building disciplined teams, retooling political infrastructure and producing tangible, data-driven results.
A lifelong blues aficionado, avid fly fisherman and proud owner of an energetic chocolate Portuguese Water Dog named Muddy Waters, Shaun lives in Washington, D.C.
