GoodPower Welcomes Former Washington Governor Jay Inslee to its Board of Directors

I am thrilled that former Washington State Governor Jay Inslee has joined GoodPower’s Board of Directors. From Congress to the State House, Governor Inslee brings decades of sustained leadership and policy experience. He joins GoodPower as GoodPower executes a bold vision and reaches new levels of scale to address rising energy costs and surging electricity demand by accelerating the transition to affordable, reliable, safe renewable power.

Governor Inslee served as Washington’s governor from 2013 to 2025, where he championed landmark clean energy legislation and built one of the country’s most ambitious state-level climate agendas. A former U.S. Congressman and 2020 presidential candidate who made climate change the defining issue of his campaign, Inslee has spent his career at the intersection of economic development, renewable energy innovation and bipartisan coalition building for the energy transition.
